Beyond Cordials: The Original American Fruit Drink
Looking for a truly bold, refreshing fruit drink that you can customize to your exact taste? While UK cordials like Robinsons or Ribena also offer excellent everyday squashes, Kool-Aid provides a distinct, nostalgic flavour experience that sets it apart.
Kool-Aid is not simply a pre-mixed syrup. It is an iconic powder mix that requires you to add your own sugar. This classic American method results in vibrant, deep flavour profiles—like Tropical Punch and Grape—that you can perfectly balance, without the artificial sweetener aftertaste sometimes present in standard "no added sugar" cordials in the UK market.
How to Mix the Perfect Pitcher of Kool-Aid
Remember: you need to add your own sugar! Here is the golden American ratio:
- 1 Packet of your favourite Kool-Aid flavour
- 1 Cup (200g) of granulated sugar (adjust to your taste)
- 2 Quarts (approx 1.9 Litres) of cold water and ice
