Description
The crispy, creamy American classic. Green bean casserole has been on the Thanksgiving table since the 1950s, and it's still the side dish everyone goes back for. Tender green beans in a rich, creamy onion sauce, finished with a thick layer of golden French's Crispy Fried Onions.
This kit has the big 170g tub of French's (enough to mix in and pile on top) and two cans of Campbell's Condensed Cream of Onion. Just add green beans and milk. It serves 8–10.
How to make it (ready in 30 minutes)
- Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan)
- Mix 2 cans Campbell's Cream of Onion with 180ml milk and black pepper
- Stir in 800g cooked green beans (fresh or frozen)
- Add half the French's Crispy Fried Onions and mix
- Bake for 25 minutes until bubbling
- Top with the remaining onions and bake 5 more minutes
