No coincidence it's by Quaker
Quaker are best known in the UK for oats, mainly porridge. Grits remind me of porridge but cost me a lot more than porridge would have cost me. After cooking my lovely wife grits with shrimps she said that the taste of the grits reminded her of macaroni cheese, which we don't particularly like and never eat. When I asked if I should cook her grits again she said maybe at some point but not regularly. So three stars feels appropriate.
